Now city and county residents have the opportunity to drop off their aluminum cans into a recycling bin downtown. Better Hometown of Wrightsville has placed a  drop-off trailer on the corner of East College and South Marcus Streets (next to Jet #3).  Many thanks go to Georgia Power Company, who enthusiastically supported the project with a grant, to Joe Norris for the loan of a trailer, to Ace Hardware for paint donation, to Harold Gaston for rust proof supplies and to the Johnson County 4-Hers, for painting the trailer green. All proceeds from the collection of recycled goods will be earmarked for future downtown projects.
